These Terms govern your use of InventiveLabs Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) websites, platforms, and services, including NaijaProperty, NaijaPlace, NaijaDirectories, Inventtive, Tutorial, NaijaLab. By accessing or using any of our platforms, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our platforms. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Use of Services

By accessing our websites or engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Use our platforms in compliance with applicable laws

  • Avoid misuse, unauthorized access, or harmful activity

  • Respect other users and refrain from fraudulent or deceptive behavior

  • Use our identity verification features (where applicable) responsibly

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

We are not liable for losses resulting from compromised accounts due to user negligence.

4. Identity Verification (NaijaProperty, NaijaPlace)

NaijaProperty uses a third‑party provider (Didit.me) to verify the identity of agents and property owners.

By using NaijaProperty, you consent to:

  • Submission of government ID

  • Facial biometrics

  • Liveness detection

  • Face match verification

We do not store raw biometric data. Only verification status and metadata are retained.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, and materials on our platforms are the property of InventiveLabs Ltd unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Distribute

  • Modify

  • Reverse‑engineer

  • Reproduce

any materials without our permission.

6. Service Engagements

Any project, service, or collaboration with InventiveLabs Ltd is governed by separate written agreements outlining:

  • Scope

  • Deliverables

  • Timelines

  • Responsibilities

  • Payment terms

These agreements take precedence over general Terms.

7. Third‑Party Services

Our platforms may integrate with third‑party services, including:

  • Didit.me (identity verification)

  • Hetzner (hosting)

  • Resend (email delivery)

  • Stripe (payments)

We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third‑party providers.

8. Cross‑Border Data Transfers

Some data may be processed outside Nigeria.
By using our platforms, you consent to international data transfers where necessary for service delivery.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InventiveLabs Ltd is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Losses arising from use of our websites or services

  • Third‑party actions or external service interruptions

  • User‑generated content or listings

  • Unauthorized access caused by user negligence

Use of our platforms is at your own discretion and risk.

10. User Content

Users may submit content such as listings, reviews, or messages.
You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to:

  • Display

  • Distribute

  • Modify (for formatting)

  • Promote

your content as needed to operate the platform.

We may remove content that violates laws or platform rules.

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post fraudulent listings

  • Circumvent verification processes

  • Upload harmful code

  • Scrape or harvest data

  • Interfere with platform functionality

Violations may result in suspension or legal action.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved under Nigerian law.
We encourage users to contact us first to resolve issues amicably.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our platforms for:

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Security risks

  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Users may also close their accounts at any time.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of our platforms indicates acceptance of the latest version.
